"I discovered this place via a friend (thank you Paolo! and organised a lunch there with a group of friends a couple of days before going back to Melbourne. It is a really nice set up, with a very homely and welcoming feeling. The hills around are gorgeous and the place itself makes you really feel at ease. The food was absolutely great. I had a taste of 3 different types of tortelli (pumpkin, potatoes and erbette , the most amazing tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and some great polenta and truffle. I also had the chance to try some other dishes that were ordere by friends and I have to say Polenta and wild boar was definitely a highlight. Desserts were really nice too. I would definitely recommmend the zabaglione and vissole. A really creamy and sweet set custard nicely balanced out by sour cherries that have been kept under spirit. We ended our meal with a nice complementary grappone , almost like a schnapp infused with basil, brown sugar and lemon. A great way to finish a great meal! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try some nice home made traditional cuisine."
