"Great Bavarian atmosphere in this restaurant. The waiter was very friendly and spoke German and English. The schnitzel varieties were all pork no turkey or veal options. They had two beers on tap hefeweizen and a light beer plus a variety of...domestic brews in bottles. The restaurant seems to do a good job of catering to both locals and American tourists because there was about a 50 50 mix on a Wednesday during dinner hours. Prices were reasonable about average for Garmisch. The specials were a whole, local fish and turkey goulash with spaetzle. There were also a few vegetarian options on the menu."

Caricature level abrupt sarcastic staff, working at an establishment totally reliant for custom on the view. Booking system for tables leaves much to be desired unoccupied lake side table...booked for 2.30pm still not free to sit at 2 hours later! Iced coffee ice cream with flavouring for the customer to stir. Stars only for the view"
