"En vacances dans la région et de retour d'une excursion au Gouffre de Padirac, nous décidons de nous arrêter au Saint-Jus pour y manger un petit bout rapide. S'il n'y a rien à redire sur les burgers des enfants (bons, copieux et au prix raisonnable), que dire des salades ? Une salade de chèvre chaud avec un seul malheureux croûton de rocamadour posé sur une montagne de salade et une César tout aussi riche en verdure mais à la garniture quasi inexistante (où était le parmesan ?), le tout pour le joli prix de 16€ ! Bonjour la marge bénéficiaire (sans compter les 20 centimes de service en terrasse...). Alors que dire quand le patron conseille à un autre client de choisir la salade César en me prenant à témoin parce qu'elle est "vraiment bonne" ? "Ben non...". En gros le sentiment de s'être bien fait arnaquer sur ce coup-là..."

"I've been here many times. Like the other excellent restaurant next door this is a lunchtime only place.Local workmen sit at a long table headed by the owner Nicole and are served a delicious ,no choice, 5 course meal with wine . If you are on your own you might be invited to join them. Otherwise there are plenty of other tables. The food is copious and good. This modest restaurant is only suitable for people prepared to take the place as they find it."

"I arrived with my partner around 9.30 pm and we were made to feel pretty bad that we were eating late, the waitress/hostess saying that we could not have the bigger menu and so forth. We were also unlucky to have turned up on the first day of a waiter who seemed pretty lost. We couldn't hold it against him because we have all had our first days on a job but it was slightly awkward as he had no idea what he was doing. We didn't have much choice and opted for the 18€ menu (the are really only three ways of ordering in this restaurant : menu for children, smaller menu at 18€ and the larger one menu at 24 (?)- apparently the "à la carte" option had been made redundant a few weeks before). The dishes are plentiful and the food is nothing extraordinary but enjoyable. The decor is a little dated but nothing bad. It's fine for a large meal at a reasonable price."
