"If you want to get to know the beautiful Odenwald correctly, you should go hiking. And here again the proverb is true. We left our car on the hiking park in Absteinach and went on a sunny autumn day, along the juicy sprout meadows where we already sprinkled the first apples, through the shaded quiet forest .We all become quieter, even our voice adapts to the silence of the forest, which will only pass through from time to time by bird voices, then we will finally reach mountain. 1.5 hours the forest restaurant Schönbrun. The Vesperstube in the restaurant is not very large 20 30 places and usually already full, but in the outdoor area many more seats are available as well as a natural playground, dogs are also welcome here and get their own bowl. Specialties of the Odenwälder cuisine are offered: e.g. cooked cheeses, hand cheeses with music, cider wine Vesperplatte.....for the sake of this, you will receive the tips of the host in terms of the surrounding area, further hikes, train and gossip for free as entertainment. After our hike we strengthened ourselves with : agitator with fried blood sausage and fresh Bauerbrot tasty fine bread = ham,black skins,blood sausage, liver sausage and hand cheese great cooking cheese with music the prices of anno too. Unfortunately, a beautiful,other autumn day goes far too fast to the end,shade"

"Until last year (2018) quite recommended day tour in an attractive location with friendly service and acceptable menu. Well, at our last visit, as if the operator had changed, a blatant crash in service and quality. At the entrance we were immediately unrequired whether we had reserved ourselves. Also simple dishes, such as cooked cheese carvings, have now been dressed quite inconspicuously, the salad below is muddy, top dry and with a powerful spout. Then we dispensed with a dessert in the same way. Too bad the place was always recommended, but the conclusion after this visit: we do not have to go."
