On sent la fin de règne. Dommage le village est sympa, un petit port pour accueillir les cavaliers avec bateau et une boulangerie qui vaut le détour !"

No Michelin stars here, just plain home cooking, and plenty of it from a set Table d'Hote menu.Outstanding value for 13.00 euros each we had 4 courses including a carafe of red wine and a coffee.A self serve cold buffet to start with more choices than you can poke a stick at egs salads of lentil, remoulade of celery, pork & tomato, vegetable, cornichons, rillettes d'Oie, liverwurst, parma ham, boiled ham, salamis and several more. Mains on our day were Tete de veau or Crepinette de porc ( kind of pork mince burger) boiled potataoes and tons of bread. Cheese plate next and a good range of around 10 choices including goats and bleu d'Auvergne. Desserts choice of: Chocolate mousse, crème caramel, Crème au pistache, fromage blanc and a sort of trifle with fruit, sponge and custard.All very delicious, and as good value as you'll find anywhere. Service prompt and polite, no frills.The place was packed with locals, workers and truck drivers. To ensure you get a table be sure to phone and book. Open for lunch and dinner."

"This restaurant is attached to a Logis Hotel. The Chef is Chef-Patron so as an owner he cares about his food and service. We had a delightful meal starting with escargot, they came in a little pot covered in sauce so no bothering with fishing them out of shells and so delicious. I had the duck with mushrooms which was good, my hubby had ris de veau which he thought was excellent. I paid a supplement for the pain d'epices with cinnamon ice cream, it was so good. Surprised this place isn't full of people. The jazz is on a loop, I might have liked some more modern, quieter music but if you want a great meal visit."
