"We had a 13.5 Menu du Jour (Menu of the day). We added a red wine pitcher for 3 Euro. For first course we had a pickled fish similar to pickled Herring, with onions and a boiled potato. Very good home made taste. For second course we had Entrecôte with Fries and Garlic Green Beans. very good. For dessert we had Tarte aux Pommes with an ice cream scoop. Very good. We added a strong espresso for 1 Euro. Service was friendly, pleasant and efficient."

"Anyone who's eaten at a 'Routiers' truck stop will know exactly what to expect here. If not you're in for a treat. No Michelin stars here, just plain home cooking, and plenty of it from a set Table d'Hote menu.Outstanding value for 13.00 euros each we had 4 courses including a carafe of red wine and a coffee.A self serve cold buffet to start with more choices than you can poke a stick at egs salads of lentil, remoulade of celery, pork & tomato, vegetable, cornichons, rillettes d'Oie, liverwurst, parma ham, boiled ham, salamis and several more. Mains on our day were Tete de veau or Crepinette de porc ( kind of pork mince burger) boiled potataoes and tons of bread. Cheese plate next and a good range of around 10 choices including goats and bleu d'Auvergne. Desserts choice of: Chocolate mousse, crème caramel, Crème au pistache, fromage blanc and a sort of trifle with fruit, sponge and custard.All very delicious, and as good value as you'll find anywhere. Service prompt and polite, no frills.The place was packed with locals, workers and truck drivers. To ensure you get a table be sure to phone and book. Open for lunch and dinner."
