"This restaurant is very pretty and has both some veganized Viet dishes and a range of interesting and unusual things. Portions are quite big, one dish per person is enough I would say (especially when you order a rice dish). The asparagus tempura and the fried purple rice was super good. Some dishes were a little bland, especially the lá lốt nấm (mushrooms in betel leaves) and the deep-fried sushi/kimbab."

"Tried some dishes with my family and they were not bad. However, some dishes have non-vegan mayonnaise inside or as seperated sauce, and the place also serves yogurt made from cow milk. So it's ok if you are vegeterian, but vegans should be careful asking about the dish you order to make sure you won't get the dish you can't eat. Staff do not seem to understand what vegan is so just be careful."

"This is a really tasty vegetarian restaurant offering a very large range of Vietnamese dishes. The whole menu is allergy marked and I'd guess about 50% are listed as gluten free. We chose a handful of different things and enjoyed all. There was one minor issue where they brought us soy sauce with our dish and we asked if it was GF before we tried it and it turned out it wasn't. This made us a little more dubious about certain things but neither myself or my celiac partner had any issues and I'm sure we'll go back again. *EDIT MENU WARNING* Just to add that sadly I've gone back to shamballa a couple of times with a celiac card and every time I've gone and chosen a different GF Dish each time there have actually been gluten ingredients that they've had to warn me about or switch out. While I appreciate them being honest with me, it means that their entire menu is basically incorrectly marked."

"Phuong mai is hidden from the lively and loud street and opposite the le van tam park. the location and info is correct on happy cow, but most of these pictures seem to be from another restaurant. not vegan, has some milk products, and many are marked clearly on the menu, but not all. this is a relaxing chay restaurant. quite standard menu with the usual dings from nudelsuppen to the hot pot. really nice staff."

"This is certainly a strange place. Most chairs are office chairs. But not as you imagine, they are very uncomfortable. It really sucks to sit on them. Anyway the food tasted good, but seems overpriced. But all that I could live with, what really annoyed me, what tue corner with the huge mark of water damage, which also has Mold!! And it is not just small, it is really big!! But apparently no one seems to really care about. And since I don't want to be in a room with mold, which can be toxic to breath, I won't go there again."
