"This establishment provided our first snack upon arrival in Calvi. The gentleman owner was delightful and when we returned the following day for lunch, gave us coffee 'on the house '. Ideal place for a snack with either a beer, soft drink or coffee. Merci Monsieur!"

"We ate here in June The restaurant overlooks the beach and the view is stunning. However, apart from one other table of sitting on the deck, the restsurant was empty from when we arrived until we left at about pm. In comparison...the restaurants at this time of the evening on the port are busy. We ordered pizzas, no starters desserts or coffee, and two small beers each. The pizzas were ok but not as special as the previous reviewer experienced. The bill came to about which was expensive. There was no fixed price menu as there is in the town and on the port, and i think this is a mistake. While we realise that beachfront restaurants will charge a premium, I think it is likely that the prices are putting people off. Most of the beachfront restaurants seem to be charging over the odds, and few were occupied that evening. By contrast the port, a few hundred yards further on, was buzzing. Managers and potential clients take note, you can eat cheaper and as well on the port, with great views and atmosphere."

"The entire waiting staff consists of only one lady, and she is the most sour waitress we have ever seen in a restaurant of this class. Considering its price and that it is a Michelin-recommended restaurant, the food is adequate but not great. It is not worthwhile to drive to this out-of-the-way street, pay the substantial price and eat just-OK food served by a most unpleasant waitress. We note that other Tripadvisor contributors have had the same experience."
