"I have been lucky to have thrived in some of the best restaurants throughout the country and the world. I have put nowa europa under my favorites to the top. eating is spectacular as the service, but this is just a part of the story. the ambiente is warm, comfortable and genuine and the place has a wonderful personality, much of this owned to manuel, one of the greenderväter des restaurants. my wife and I have been enjoying since the year they were opened (1982) and we have always served and enchanted. a highly trained master chef with a wonderfully interesting story to tell. we took a dear friend to lunch today and he just noticed: “This is the best restaurant experience I ever had.” I will leave you all with what was said, and thank you, dr. rick"

"We used to live in Wheaton and occasionally would go to the Limerick Pub. This was maybe eight years ago. The food we ordered did not remind us of that time. The shepherds pie was very salty. The fish and chips were deplorable. The fish was soggy. Not terrible, but sadly soggy. The chips were absolutely disastrous. Greasy. Soggy. Limp. What is it with restaurants in MD? How hard is it to make a crispy batch of fries? These were nothing but sadness. McDonalds has better fries than this. In addition, I asked for the chips to be “well done” and for extra tartar sauce. Neither request was fulfilled. I want to like the food as much as we did several years ago, but I just can’t. I’ll give them three stars because it was edible. Not special. Not memorable. Just edible."
