"Patrons are friendly. Menu is limited, not cheaper than the cafe at Chateau Chenonceau (we thought a local restaurant would be cheaper than the touristy locations), and our dishes were not good at all. The meat we (hamburger steak) had was charred almost beyond consumption. I don't know if there was a misunderstanding, because of the language barrier, or if it was just a bad day, with mishaps in the kitchen, but it was. Not. Good."

"We were surprised by the terrins. we didn't expect so much food. we have not been used to the resistance or something, but oh. we have tried it, it is an experience, and it is traditional! place next to the river with cozy and simple tables. but. it was really nice, fresh and we have a nice memory. perhaps a bit expensive, taking into account the amount of each terrine. Nevertheless, we could feel somehow satisfied and come safely to dinner."

"The menu is not very varied but the quality is excellent. we ordered two salads, one with bacon and one with smoked salmon. both delicious, what it took for a light lunch. very kind owner, pleasant local along the road to the castle of chenonceau ."

"This is the second time we stay in this hotel, but this time we were disappointed. The decor is stubborn, the sheets stained, the doors grincent, the bedding could be replaced as well as the bathrooms rebuilt. It feels like there's no more investment.No air conditioning, so it's very hot in the rooms. The fountain of the pool does not turn out at night, the railway track is not far, difficult to sleep the open windows.No wifi in the rooms...only at the reception (minuscule)Côté restauration, we were also disappointed. We took the wine chords but the glasses were slow to arrive (we had to ask them) so we never had the last drink. The dishes were no more.We took a cut on the terrace, ordered a cut of crude vouvray, and I was served a completely ventilated wine, and debulled! The swimming pool is glacial.Bref, this is not a very good value for money! Tribute because the castle is beautiful to the experimenter!"
