"Hands down the best food in the Taos area! If you are in town, you need to make the short trip to Arroyo Seco to visit this place. I mean, the photos speak for themselves. I stumbled when looking for a great place to get a steak, and between half the Taos restaurants closed during the week and those who were not with questionable reviews, I have expanded our search and am so glad that I did it! Our server was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and the food rivals some of the best restaurants in our Foodie hometown Austin. The food quality was from this world, and the flavor combination on the fried nori canapé we got was SO unique and delicious! Definitely do not skip on the Bison bone marrow or steak, even on the menu. We got a Wangus crucible, and it was perfectly medium-heavy and so tasteful of the flame-grill it was charred. We were so excited to dig after the amazing appetizers that we forget to take a photo before we started eating? We went so full and happy, and for an amazing price point for fine food. Usually I leave a high-end experience that wants to eat a snack because of small portion sizes, but what we ordered was a crazy bang for our Buck on taste and portion. You have to come here when you're in the area!"

"Yummy creative vegan food in Taos is a welcome and overdue (all the food is vegan as noted in the listing description except for creamer and honey). We made the short drive from Taos to Arroyo Seco and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Was a little bummed that they had run out of biscuits but the wrap they offered was also delicious even my 88 year old dad enjoyed his. Nice people and delicious food ... The Wake and Take is worth a visit (often)."

"Not sure what went wrong. Family made reservations for 7:00 PM two days prior. We were seated right away in a dining area all to ourselves!! Server was prompt and helpful. Everything was going well- With the arrival of our food things took a turn. Keep in mind that the bill for our large group was over $500.00 Everyone?s food was cold, plates were so hot server had to use napkins to carry. How long did the orders sit under heat lamp?? My dinner was dry, cold and sad. Overall a disappointing experience"
