"We tried the vegan enchilada and it was very, very rich. a pity other than that, the straws and the totopos are no more options, with how wide it is Mexican vegetable gastronomy beans, nopales, huitlacoche. "That’s about the size of it. I felt insulted. I ordered a starter portion of “local stew” which the menu described as having meat, vegetables, beans, chorizo and dumplings. I got noodle soup. Noodle soup. Not a trace of anything described in the menu. It...tasted lovely, but if I had wanted Chorizo flavoured oil with noodles in it, I’d have ordered that. As for the “mixed grill of local meat”. The photo is what I got put in front of me and what I was charged Euro for. I could FEEL their contempt because I could speak no Spanish except very basic phrases. It’s almost like they’re saying, ‘eat this, it’s all you deserve’. Had that been in a country where I could speak the language, I’d have gone nuts at someone. I had a paella in a motorway service station a few hours before this and it taught this diabolical food a solid lesson. I don’t care about wooden beams and old skis on the wall; I’m not coming to eat them. If your food is awful, your decor will never save you. Worst meal I have EVER had anywhere in Europe...and that’s saying something."

"We ate in this restaurant on the last night of a 2 week trip and particularly wanted to grill our own steak (stone steak .We had a few problems ordering due to our minimal Spanish and the waiter’s minimal English but we got there in the end. The meat was fine but the plate (stone that it arrived wasn’t hot enough although after a while, we were provided with a supplementary grill. We ordered grilled vegetables as the meat didn’t come with vegetables (the norm in northern Spain . We skipped a dessert and finished with two iced Baileys! The meal was expensive compared to other restaurants but the restaurant had a good ambiance and was full."
