"They screwed up my reservation- I had a confirmation and everything, but no room at the inn. Bad management. Apparently ’they’ do all kinds of weird things… I was very disappointed. I ended up having to stay 1/2 hour away. I had to drive back to Port McNeil after driving all day to get to Port Hardy from Victoria. And now I have more travel expense and time wasted in order to do my plans in Port Hardy tomorrow. Lame."

"We just needed something quick as it was late at night. There isn't much open later in the evening. The food was fine, in fact, we got an extra serving of fries by mistake and didn't notice until we were back at the motel quite far away."

The rotunda style room felt like being in a lighthouse, or wheelhouse! After that, we were disappointed. A very limited selection of beer on tap or bottle. The service was appalling. We asked twice for napkins after ordering wings (they were okay) and finally had to go to the bar to get them. We ordered fries, and never got them. Don’t go there hungry! Go for the view!"

"Absolutely awesome diner, the plates are packed to the brim with very delicious selfmade foods that are enough for a German Viking like me. Also they have the most energetic and high spirited waitress I have ever seen, that alone made my day! Great place all around!"
