"We had the Barra and chips and the fish burger. You can tell they make things from scratch, the fish was fresh and well seasoned, salads were crisp, crunchy and delicious, portions were decent and it didn’t take too long to come out to us. The staff were friendly too!"

"My favourite place to visit for breakfast and lunch! Joanne is such a delight, always so accommodating and forever making me the tastiest concoctions! Highly recommend the schnitzel wrap or the breakky wrap with a hash brown! Coffee is always perfect as well."

"A group of four of us were looking for a bite to eat along Glenhuntly Rd and took a chance on Phad Thai. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, which was very very tasty, and oh so inexpensive. $75 for four of us, samosas to begin...with, then jasmine rice, chicken fried rice, stir fry ginger and beef, green curry, Calamari salad, and shared palm sugar cakes. All delicious, and plenty to share. No tea or coffee was a surprise, but there is a variety of cold drinks on offer. We stuck with water, and that was fine. It’s a smallish restaurant but with tables spread out well, there was no noisy hubbub. One waitress to serve everyone, and she did a stirling job, also serving takeaway customers. I am surprised to read the other reviews ours was a positive experience!"
In nice weather you can even be served in the outdoor area.

"I highly recommend it if you have the money to afford it and I think the lowest priced items in the store start at about $15. That said, the food is of a supreme quality. In the 5 years I've been buying here, I can honestly say I've not ever had a single thing I haven't loved and become a little obsessed with. I noted some other reviews stated unfriendly service and something about Prue and Trude but I've never found the service never to be anything less than pleasant, sometimes in a hurry, but not rude and it's actually the customers who are more likely to be on the rude side, a sense of self imposed importance means they have no regard for those around them. The range is extensive, from pies and pastries for both the individual or family, to fresh salads and ready to serve-once-heated take home meals that your grandma might have made if your grandma was Stephanie Alexander. They also have a sort of high end pantry of items from coffee to fancy dry grains and pasta to irresistible sweets and biscuits and that obscure item you can't find anywhere else or want to take to impress your MIL for afternoon tea in Mathoura rd. I will say that you should be careful to check the amount of money you hand over and the change you get back against a detailed receipt or the charge on your cc before you leave the store, I've been stung 3 times over the course of a year with short changing by more than $20, and lastly, I've no idea where the idea that it's open late has come from, but it's definitely not, it closes about 6.30pm at the latest I think."
