"Die "Neuen Stuben" in Fallersleben bieten den sicherlich besten Mittagstisch aller in diesem Wolfsburger Stadtteil ansässigen Restaurants. Die Speisenkarte ist gegenüber der umfangreichen Abendkarte reduziert, bietet aber - wöchentlich wechselnde - Gerichte für jeden Geschmack: von Salat über Suppe und einer Nudelspeise bis hin zu einem vollwertigen Fisch- und Fleischhauptgericht sowie einem Dessert. Ja, selbst "Spargel" mit unterschiedlichen Beilagen, der derzeit eigentlich nur abends angeboten wird, konnten wir bei unserem heutigen, mittäglichen Besuch erhalten - und haben ihn sehr genossen, wie auch die anderen sehr schmackhaft zubereiteten Speisen - unter anderem Kabeljau mit frischem Schmorgemüse auf Reis - genießen. Das Ganze gibt es zu einem sehr attraktiven Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, serviert von äußerst freundlichen und aufmerksamen Servicekräften."

Lage ist ja ganz schön.Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, und man kommt mit den anderen Gästen schnell ins Gespräch.Allerdings ist das kulinarisch leider nichts.Die Spargelsuppe schmeckte sehr nach Fett (nicht frische Butter), und das Schnitzel ertrinkt in Fertigsauce. Das ganze angereichert mit Dosenchampignons. Auf den Hinweis, daß frische Champignons angenehmer wären, kam die Antwort, daß der Preis dann erhöht werden müsse...Wir gehen ja nicht essen, um uns günstig den "Wanst" vollzuhauen, sondern um uns zu "belohnen" nach harter Arbeit etc. .Eine Kalkulation von Fertigsauce mit Dose, zu frisch mit Mehlschwitze hat hier wohl auch noch niemand gemacht.Falls hier einmal richtig gekocht werden sollte, kommen wir gerne wieder. Nur ist das leider eine 5 mit dickem Minus. 2 Punkte für das nette Personal."
