"As an Afro-American from chicago, I feel that cracker barrel hit or misses when it comes to her service. mostly in the south I found out that the service is based on the region. I've been dimming in Spanish recently, alabama. When our server arrived, I felt like I was back in the early 60s when she welcomed our table. she was not rude for any reason. short with her talk and very crisp with her answers. my wife and I ordered our engaged. When our food finally arrived, it was room temperature, and it seemed old, not fresh. I asked our waitress about the cornbread that came with our meals. she rolled her eyes and stormed back into the kitchen. I could fight her with the guys. she came back and put some mangled muffins before us. (see photos) both my wife and I decided that we would not tolerate this service level. we have risen and paid for our meals that we have not finished eating and gone. we both felt that the waitress had either a very bad day or she just didn't appreciate it or wanted to wait for a person of color. I say the latter of the two. I know that people love the color to dinate and protect operate. However, please write them always reviews to let owners know about this type of behavior. I don't want to blame cracker barrel to be a racist or prejudicial establishment, but sometimes the treatment and behavior of their personal when it comes to serving people of color can be a little confusing."
