"We were in the mill on 26.07.16 and drank there. for a rivella, a beer and two water glace we have paid 17 chf. the price/performance ratio is not true in my eyes. not even at the airport zh you pay for a water-glace 3!.- (here it is not a brand-galce)Let alone from the menus! the mill stands at a beautiful place! spassfactor is given for family fishing.We were however the first and last time there."

"Das Anfang November eröffnete Bistro überzeugt vor allem durch die angenehme Gestaltung mit warmen Farben und Holz. Ein passender Ort für eine Kaffeepause, ein ungezwungenes Mittagessen oder einfach so für eine kleine Stärkung.Bei unserem Besuch schwankten wir zwischen Salat oder Wurst mit Brot. Die Geschäftsführerin erkannte da und bot uns eine Kombination an. Ein Paar Wienerli mit gemischtem Salat. Für die Kinder eine kleinere Portion, für die Erwachsenen normale Portion. Brot wurde unaufgefordert nachgereich und der Salat war nicht 08/15 sondern ergänzt mit kleinen, feinen Details (etwas Ei, ein paar Kräuter). So mag ich das. Über Mittag wird eine Menu angeboten, ansonsten sind Rösti in verschiedenen Varianten und eben auch Salate sowie kleine Snacks im Angebot.Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"I stayed in this hotel in November. You booked the room and you are happy to visit Switzerland. You arrive at the hotel. You find out it is only open 2-6pm. You come back at 4pm. Hotel still closed. You call the hotel. The Russian guy answers. He is angry. He doesn’t speak english nor German. Not because he can’t, but because he doesn’t want to speak at all. He tells you he will be there in 10 minutes. You wait for 30 minutes. Your first day is already ruined. Hh He comes mad. He is thinking to himself-Why did he show up? He was hopping you pay the money online and miss the flight or something and not show up at all. He doesn’t want you there. You already realize dealing with him will be extremely difficult. You oblige with all the hefty fees he imposes on you. He imposes fees on the infant although he sleeps in the same bed as you. You just want this nightmare to end. You go the small dirty room with the tiny bathroom. You find spiders. It’s okay, it is nature’s fault not his. Wi-Fi not working. It is his fault. You call him after you settle in at 6pm. The Russian is furious. He walks to your room and starts yelling. It’s a problem with your phone he says. You ask other residents, they have the same issue. All the residents phones are the issue. You find out that he is operating the whole hotel using one router and many Wi-Fi extenders. You sleep at the 30-year old mattress. It is hot now. There is no air conditioning. You want to open the windows but you don’t want big spiders to come in. You ask for a fan. The Russian declares war on you. He wants you out today, he will not refund you for the remaining nights. You are scared he will come in at night and murder you. You check out the next morning because you value your life. The Russian is happy now. He is smiling. He tells you to have a nice day after you hand him the keys. I tracked down other residents of this hotel. They all had similar experience. You will do too dear reviews reader. Yes you!! The Russian will probably try to reply to this review saying I never stayed there. Beware!"

"The location and the view over the Lake of Thun (Thunersee) is spectacular. The food is typical Swiss, including cheese fondue. It's great for families and there's lots of outdoor and indoor dining space. Swiss restaurants are more expensive than in the EU, but this...Restaurant is mid-range for Switzerland, especially considering its prime location (Panorama view)."

"We were with a friend from Germany in the belair and sat on a table at the window with a view of the lake. beautiful! the service was attentive, spontaneous and cordial, we felt comfortable.The eating was not outstanding, but tasted very good. the portions are not huge, that was just right for us (for a strong man rather short).The room is stylishly renovated and decorated. the many fresh flowers and candles created a really pleasant atmosphere."

"As other contributors have said, this restaurant has one of these best views in Switzerland. It is also a great place to eat economically if your are holidaying there. For supermarket food it's head and shoulders above anything in the UK. Hot food, salads, fruit...and the cakes are always lovely too. Good choice of drinks too. I've never been disappointed with lunch here."
