"Solid Japanese food far away from downtown Vancouver. Realistic prices , always good service and tasty food. Never tried the all you can eat , but what I tried was very good including their sashimi."

"AMAZING SUSHI. A friend recommend this place to me and I thought I'd give it a try. It is a newly opened in Surrey. The food presentation is beautiful and the taste goood. The staff are very polite and cheerful, this is definitely a place to try!"

"Great, fresh fish at very reasonable prices. I ordered gomaee, appetizer sashimi and a spicy tuna roll for a total of $15. The roll had a lot of fish and a relatively thin layer of rice. Perfect! Much better than Akari."

"Picked up dinner here last night, and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered roughly $65 worth of rolls and yakisoba, I certainly felt like I got my monies worth. I saw that previous reviews had mentioned small portion sizes but I did not find that to be the case. We had a ton of leftovers, my lunch today was almost as big as dinner last night. Quality was great as well, no complaints on any of the dishes. I was very impressed at how well our food was laid out in the pickup containers, often times at sushi restaurants I feel that the food is stuffed into the to-go containers, but the staff organized everything and had little wax paper sheets separating the different rolls. Solid Restaurant Some of the dishes we ordered were: Veggie Yakisoba Spicy Tuna Rolls (also tried to deep fried version) Yam Tempura Rolls Spicy Mango Paradise Roll Spicy Agedashi Tofu (The spicy sauce was some of the best I have had and I order this dish at every sushi restaurant I visit. They do more than just slap some Siracha on top)"

"Came here for lunch and the food was good. I got the Phoenix Roll, Dynamite Roll, tomago and Gyozas. The Phoenix Roll was really good and the gyozas were cooked perfectly! I didn't really like that the tomago was so cold and not as sweet as other places but it was still good and a nice change."

"Sushi wara has a great variety of dishes to try, and there are very few things i didnt like. The tempura is not too battered and has a nice taste, the sushi tastes very good, especially the special rolls. Everytime i go, i get a...small plate of edamame for free, and the staff is very friendly. I do notice that when the restaurant gets very busy, there isnt enough staff to get to everyone, and i find myself waiting a while. But when this happens they will apologize for it, so they do care about their customers. The best thing to order in my opinion is the sashimi sushi bento. If you like to have a bit of everything, this gets you a California roll, tempura, tuna and salmon sashimi, nigiri, salad, miso soup, and the daily special, which can be anything from a piece of gyoza to fried crab. All that costs and it all tastes good. This is the best sushi place in the area."
