"Wow! What a surprise to find this hidden gem in Dawson! There is so much variety with things that you would only expect to find in a whole foods/organic store plus everything that you would need for your day to day groceries. The deli has amazing sandwiches that are definitely worth a stop in on their own. Their sausage rolls are also exceptional and completely homemade. "Great spot to grab a slice. Not a lot of seating but most people take out or have it delivered. The owner makes a trip every two weeks to Whitehorse to pick up fresh supplies rather than count on the unpredictable delivery services Dawson can sometime offer. The pizza was super affordable. From the crowd we saw coming and going during the day we could only imagine how busy he must be late night."

"My husband and I have stayed in the cabins many times over the years and always have breakfast here--the $4.99 special. What could be better. You can eat inside or outside in the covered heated dining area. Inside the walls are covered with photos from the past and you can learn a lot about the history of the property such as it was first a grocery store, then The Lucky Inn which explains the banner overhead, finally Klondike Kate after the Queen of the North. Also the locals eat here so it has to be good. Enjoy."
