"We arrived with a weeping baby and we were served immediately. we had no German and so the waiter voluntarily declares the menu to us and was really friendly. the whole menu looked really nice. we had the goat cheese and walnut toast, which was very tasty and quickly arrived. we had cappuccinos afterwards and they were very frothy without too much milk. the coffee was excellent. I can recommend this place safely."

"Fantastic bakery on the main strip, this is a good thing as it was the only one in Andermatt. Cake and bread we tried were all great, coffee was just fine, but I would strongly recommend to go there for the bakery Goodies!"

"My wife and I had a nice lunch sitting by the stream at the Gasthaus St. Gotthard (Restaurant St. Gotthard), as we had chosen to drive over the Pass rather than wait in 5 km of traffic. In case of bad weather, the inside is a pleasant alpine style. But it was soothing to sit outside by the stream with mountains around and the beautiful Gasthaus adjacent. Many other drivers also chose to drive over, so we decided to take a lunch break in lovely Hospental. It’s always nice to see Hospental anyway. The woman who served us was friendly and hard-working. The menu is pretty much standard Swiss, but the preparation was spot-on with top-notch ingredients – no packaged food used here. We would happily stop here again, and probably will."

"Visited on ski trip in jan. Always busy, good range of beers but pizzas are it’s highlight which are really good. Staff very accommodating. Decor a bit old fashioned but some might like that"
