"This restaurant is a pure delight to visit. It is one of the very few restaurants that you can eat by the water and enjoy the wildlife and scenery. The food here is good, reasonable and I have never had a disappointing meal here. Check it out on your own, You will not be disappointed, oh, and did I say the service is second to none."

"We rode over to Everglades City from Miami with a group of 15. The place was not crowded at all. However, it took forever to get service. When the server finally got there, we were told that there was no salad and no chowed. The rather limited menu was then reduced even more. I ordered the fried shrimp basket and my wife got the coconut shrimp basket. These basket came with very few shrimp and were very plain. Plus, they were expensive $15.99 and $16.99). No value here. Food was less than average and service was terrible. The only shining star was a woman that was filing glasses and bringing silverware. Oh, there was also a dead possum in a hava-heart trap and in the building itself. You'd be better off eating day old truck stop chili dogs. Better places to eat for sure. I won't be back."
In nice weather you can even be served in the outdoor area.
