Stopped in Everglades City to see how it was doing after Hurrican Irma and found Tastes of the Everglades for lunch. The staff was friendly and we were seated quickly. We ordered the chicken sandwich plate aand the Gator Tail (bites). The sandwich was well prepared and quite tasty. The gator tasted like....well.... gator. We rode over to EVERGLADES CITY from Miami with a group of 15. The place was not crowded at all. However, it took forever to get service. When the server finally got there, we were told that there was no salad and no chowed. The rather limited menu was then reduced even more.
