"We wanted to go out for a dinner and drink but ended up having rather spoiled evening and no food. Sadly, the welcome was highly unwelcoming, surprisingly came from the owner. I was astonished by terribly bad service and lack of manners. We meant to have a dinner at this restaurant but prior a dinner we fancied a drink at the bar. The below is a chain of events that led me to rate this place with 1 star. When we took our places at the bar the manager/owner said in English "I have no time, I am busy" I must say this really got behind my skin but i was still polite and sat at the bar patiently waiting for a waitress to attend... About 10 min later a couple walked through the door and a waitress came up to them and offered them a table, at this point I had enough and wanted to leave but my boyfriend said we should give them another 5 min so I did. Then, two waitresses came behind the bar ... There was no greeting nothing...!!! They just did their own things as we were simply not at the bar and I could not help to make a comment, and wanted to leave then one of the girls asked us what we would like to drink, Mark asked for a beer and I did not really want to spend any monies on a drink so asked for a cheapest non alcoholic drink. To be fair,I actually was offended by the way we were treated, how can you tell a customer that you have no time to serve them, have two waitresses to run around in a restaurant that had 10people eating !!! If you cannot deal with 10people at the table who are not being served at the same time between 3 members of staff this is outrageously ridiculous! The staff that cannot be bothered to greet you at the bar and shows their back ... This is wrong. I understand we are not locals but if you do not want to cater for stranger put a sign on a door strangers are not welcome. I explained to my boyfriend that I would not be happy to stay here any longer due to all this unreasonable service, so we have paid up ,and as we were leaving the waitress asked if I had a problem with the service, I said yes as it was terribly bad,and now it is too late to change my mind. I certainly would not recommend this place if you do not live in the village. This was definitely the worst service I ever had experienced in France."
