"The Fork is a great place to eat. I love the American diner feel, the booths and long benches to bring the family in. It’s great value , my friend and I split the the bill, £30! We didn’t need a dessert, we were full just in the salad and main course. The staff are great too, explain how everything works, they are very friendly and seem to be happy in their work. It was great to witness that! We are all so happy to be back working and living our lives!"

"Terrible dining experience. Billed as Fine Dining it is more like Zizzi’s. Food was rushed, ridiculously rushed. We had starters 5 mins after ordering, then cleared and mains 10 mins later. No service at all. No wine pouring, no table clearing. Terrible. Staff also did not listen could not understand. Asked for a drinks menu for the bill. Worst dining experience in St Albans in years. Food was mediocre, wine list is rubbish."

"Went in for the first time after hearing good reviews. Great selection of food in there I got a range of foods from the deli counter and the shelves which were all high quality and tasty. However, the experience wasn’t enjoyable. The man (presumably owner) wasn’t particularly welcoming and he started shouting at his young worker right in front of everyone. It just made me feel sorry for the poor kid and I wanted to be out the shop as soon as possible. There’s no excuse for acting like that in front of customers. Friendly, welcoming service goes a long way with me, and unfortunately my only experience with this place has put me off. Lovely prosciutto, but bad customer service doesn’t make up for that."
