Unfortunately, our experience tonight was not great. I feel they were just short personal, so we had to wait for drinks. the starters came before we were allowed to go to salatbar and our main thing before our table came from salad bowls and appetizers. the waitress was beautiful, but definitiw was overworked. also charges of materials not available read more.

Had brunch for 5 people. Many on the menu to choose from. Ideal for vegetarians and vegans. beautiful waitress and great price. Will definitely go back.

Had to wait for our head for over an hour as it was quite busy and the burgers came out without the side claw and the meat was really over boiled and dry

"We had a well-deserved coffee and cake at Willow Trees Café after a lovely cross county walk. Refreshments were excellent and it was nice sitting outside by the river Lea (there was even a swan on the river with several young cygnets). There is not much parking at (or near) the Café so most people walk from Wheathampstead (along the Lea Valley Walk) or walk cycle from Harpenden along the old railway line (which is also part of the Lea Valley Walk). The café does have a set of cycle racks. It should be noted that the café is only at weekends and bank holiday Monday’s between May Bank Holiday weekend and August Bank Holiday Monday. Contactless payment is now accepted and additional outside seating has recently been added."

The warmth of light from orange and yellow glass flowered light fittings and the dull bronze of lanterns with lace-like cutout patterns. The shine of plates on the wall that are decorated with intricate patterns or desert scenes. The brightness of the sun coming down from skylights. The warmth and sheen of brown wood and the gentle drape of red tassled curtains with gold detailing. The sweetness of single tulips on each table.
