"We have been noodlebox lovers since it opened its doors on Fisgard St. in Victoria many years ago. Cooks were amazing and fun to watch, wait staff was friendly and smiled! (imagine that But tonite at the Uptown location was the worst we have ever...had . My daughter didn't even finish her orange chicken noodles and my spicy ginger beef was not recognizable as the same dish I ordered only a month ago at the same location. Didn't even taste the same , very dry and beef was chewy, just terrible and extra broccoli was ONE floret cut into four tiny pieces! Come on guys, quality and consistency have gone steadily downhill in the past year or two. There was a time I would have given you a without hesitation."

"The owners are nice to converse with and are homely. The portions are generous. The wait isn't too long compared to some other Japanese restaurants in the city but I do understand whenever they're slower than their norm, it's because they got a sea of home deliveries they're on the clock for. It's a shame they were forced to move to their current smaller location on Quadra, their new place doesn't have tatami rooms, one of the biggest charm to dine in. Blasted city; they're really trending hard to drive local restaurants away to take land and resell it to condo developers. I encourage folks to try this place to show support for local businesses enduring trying times during the pandemic."

"This place is so good! We stopped on a whim because we needed food before heading somewhere and were not disappointed. Everything we got was amazing and the service was great. Best Thai food I’ve had in quite a while. The panang curry was amazing as well as options 106 and 22 on the menu (I don’t remember their names unfortunately)."

"Excellent service, very good Pho, terrible Lemongrass Chicken on Papaya Salad, and the best dang hot sauce I have ever had (having lived in east Asia for 8 years). Most Vietnamese joints just put out the standard Sriracha bottle, but this place grinds their own hot sauce -- makes all the difference in the world. If you like Pho, get it here and dose it with their sauce. Prices good for Pho, notsomuch for other dishes (which is ironic, as their Pho is by far their best offering). We also had their Banh mi pork and beef sandwiches (not on the menu) and were quite underwhelmed. Better to go with the Pho."

"I've only had Thai food a few times & couldn't remember what I had before. I checked out the menu at the Little Thai Place (they had it taped to the window so you could look in from the outside). I had something in mind & then saw the 'Special' board. The #1 choice was called Som Pon Papaya Salad. I took it to go. I couldn't believe how good it smelled while driving home; was sure they'd made a mistake! When I got home I was in for a real treat! Two big pieces of curly leaf lettuce enveloped a container just stuffed with julienned vegetables, a few cooked shrimp, some tomatoes pieces & some very spicy papaya sauce. It was SO tasty & delicious! Will definitely be ordering that again! The staff are all quite young & very friendly & helpful; fast service. Highly recommend the Little Thai Place."

"Absolutely delicious! When we entered for dinner and had the place for us, they were pampered with delivery orders, but our food quickly came out and it was some of the most delicious Thai food I ever had. I tried the Panang Curry, and next time I will definitely try something from their Specials Board. Can't wait to go back!"

"Great spot for a quick sushi bread, I had the real crab, prawn dynamite, and a few more. the owner is super friendly, visited all inquiries. Now it is obvious that I will not order fried plate, as it is packed in plastic containers soggy and loose texture. all in all great places to grab and go. my review might change with the time, coz I have not tasted sushi to other places on the island)"
