"We were pleasantly surprised on a recent visit after having some terrible local experiences. Inside is cool and comfortable, and the facilities satisfactorily clean... If a little cramped. The food was reasonable for the price and the menu had some interesting variations from the standard...chicken Piri Piri, grilled pork steak and bitoque. I am sure we will return for a standard meal out but wouldn't choose it for a special occasion."

"Ideal has improved over the past few years but again seems to be letting itself down at lunchtime. The food remains excellent but having just had lunch, the service was poor. Not the fault of the waiter who was running himself off his feet, but...that of the owner. There were probably people in for lunch and just one waiter, impossible task. It is a good place to eat but the staff levels need to improve"

"Très bonne adresse, on y mange une cuisine typique portugaise, bien servie, pour vraiment pas cher !Nous y sommes allés en famille (6 adultes, 1 ado et 2 enfants).4 bacalhau, 2 pièces de boeuf, 3 parts de poulet. 1 pichet d'1litre de vin blanc, 5 ice tea, 2 fanta, 4 grandes bières, 4 mousses au chocolat. Le tout très bon et servi en grandes quantités. Total : 96€ !Le restaurant est propre et bien situé, le personnel est agréable.Nous y retournerons sans hésiter."

"The first white wine offering was aptly named Amnesia , but was unfortunately not in stock. Very disappointed by this restaurant, after reading such rave reviews. The food was inexplicably awful, arrived cold, with my sauce resembling wallpaper paste. No one queried why we both left so much uneaten on our plates, as if they somehow knew it was dreadful. As for the idea of Fusion , this has got lost somewhere. As we tried our best to eat something, we were given the loud soundtrack of an electric blender from the open kitchen. We left at speed, still hungry, somewhat poorer, and went home for a tasty bowl of homemade soup."
