"My husband and I went there last night. We were excited to try a new place. We had a reservation for 7pm, got seated at 730. No big deal, place was busy. Hostess sits us, throws menu on the table and walks away. Our waitress was nice but not very attentive. We order drinks and appetizer. Stuffed jalapeño peppers, they were ok. We then put our orders in, we both ordered ribeye steaks. An hour later, we still don’t have our food as we watch a table of 6 that came in after us get their dinners. I call for the waitress, who at no time in that hour comes by and give us updates on our meal. I asked how long before our dinners would be ready and questioned why the table of six got their food before ours. She stated that because I ordered my steak medium-well it takes longer. What? My steak in fact was not cooked medium-well but medium-rare and my husband’s was rare when he asked for medium. We asked for the manager, sent our food back and asked for it to be deducted from our bill as at this point we were done with this establishment. Manager did take it off the bill and we left. Maybe it was an off night but when you as a customer go out expecting to have an enjoyable dinner at a price of well over $100, you should get what you request and with great service. Not the case here."

"I've been here for years and finally had the opportunity. I was NOT disappointed. I was with a group of six. We had reservations. We, where immediately upon arrival, our waitress Jennie C was brilliantly super attentive, courteous and helpful! The food was perfectly cooked, and the main rib I had was huge and cooked for perfection. If you are looking for a great meal with excellent atmosphere and excellent service, do not look further. Go to Buckleys!"

"The sweet corn bacon ravioli is one of the most unique and tastiest dishes I've ever had! So much variety on one plate but it never felt like too much. The flavors are all complimentary to one another. The chicken was so flavorful and tender. I alsoordered the lobster chowder to try since I've never been a fan of clams. It's a great take on clam chowder and I was shocked tofind a whole lobster claw in the chowder! It's clear they use high quality ingredients here. I'm already craving the ravioli andit's only been one day ????"

"Haven’t been here since college days 1979. It is even better than I remember. We came for happy hour $4.99 margaritas chips salsa. We ordered el President it was excellent wifey ordered steak and shrimp fajita was very good as well. Our server Taylor provided outstanding service. I know Tortilla Flats doesn’t need another 5 star review but I just feel compelled to write one. We’ll be back. Happy New Year."

"My girlfriend and I came here on Labor Day at 8:15 and they were closing at 9pm. We had an amazing experience with some live music. (I wish I knew his name) We started with the steak and cheese spring rolls that were on point! My girlfriend got the French onion soup that was one of the best we've ever had. We split the buffalo mac n cheese and BBQ chicken Flatbread. The mac was out of this world so creamy, so cheesy, and the portion was humongous! I was unable to taste the Flatbread due to no more room in my stomach for it. There's always next time. The crew were complete all-stars from start to finish. Never once tried rushing us through our meals and made sure we had everything we needed. Rodney specifically, is an amazing bartander, if you're lucky enough you'll have him. Oh, he also ran to the parking lot and brought me my (favorite) hat to me that I left on the bar hook under the bar. Go to The Homestead of you're looking for a good night out and amazing food! -Enjoy/Be safe"
