"The location is in the heart of this small but well formed Dorset town. In terms of location its only drawback is the lack of parking space. The staff are young and well drilled.Always helpful and polite even when the hotel is really busy. The bar area is lively and the drinks are reasonably priced. There are a mix of room sizes but all are well furnished etc. Food is better than good, with really good ingredients used at all times. We were a group of friend gathering for a weekend away. 14 persons were easily accommodated for dinner and even though the hotel and bar were really busy, we were always served and supplied with drinks on time. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending The Grosvenor for any age group to enjoy a short break."
