"Trip Advisor added this restaurant at our request, but it took them so long we've long forgotten what we had for lunch at this spot in Gionges, just west of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in the Cote des Blancs Champagne zone. However, we certainly remember we had a great time, marveling at the freshness of the ingredients, the perfect cooking, and the speed with which we were served. The dining rooms are plain and airy, with large family groups often filling long wooden tables, but I would definitely recommend the Auberge to anyone doing Champagne tastings in the area. You can eat more than necessary for EUR 20, and the wine list is long with good but reasonably-priced Champagnes.Note: Open only for lunch Tuesday to Friday and then Sunday, the restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner on Saturdays. Monday is a day off. They deserve it!"
