"Really enjoyed it!. We had a banquet for 4, and all of the food was delicious! Banquet included refills for the mains aswell which was great. We also arrived fairly late, around 9.20 and the kitchen usually closes at 10pm and they stayed open till 10.40pm for us, for our mains refills and desserts! We were also able to take home the left overs and we didnt even have to ask. Very grateful for that. So so amazing thankyou Only one thing I didn't like, the lady didn't take our unused water cups and such and didnt leave much extra room for plates, and she was a bit slow for bringing out drinks as we were the only table there Other than that we had a fantastic time, food was tasty...read more"

"I'm a local in the area have visited all takeaway outlets nearby, the Afghan Charcoal was the last one I visited for the first time on Friday nite the shop was completely empty besides 5 staff members in the kitchen , there was no warm welcome or a smile not a good start , we placed our order which was only three wraps ... We waited 28 minutes with no communication from any staff of why it was taking so long .. I was forced to stand up in front register to get some acknowledgement.Only then we were noticed and was told it won't be long .. 10 mins later she oppoligies for the wait due to being busy ??? Lol empty shop ?Anyway the food could have saved it but oh we were wrong it tasted like left overs on boxing day that's being nice.I do think writing these reviews but if you run a takeaway outlet please just do your job promptly with a smile ....Go crows"

"Stick with their plates of mixed kebabs, garlic sauce & house-made naan breads - this is what they do best. I have had their curry but it wasn't great; choosing to ignore that though, because the kebabs and naan are just so good! Been here loads, never had a bad experience - good prices, quick service."

"Stumbled across this joint accidentally and am i glad that this accident took place or what! We tried the burgers, which were good, the Yiros which was very good and finally we tried the Bakalavas which were truly awesome! They have a commercially made box of Bakalavas (which has cashew filling) and the other types which they make themselves .. which has almond and walnut fillings.. which are by far the best that i've had here in Adelaide!If you are a sweet tooth like me... then don't miss this.. or you'll regret!"

"Very delicious shish, I used to regularly get the mixed meal here. I would give this place a 4 4.5/5 usually but recently (past few months) a few friends have gone to this establishment and have been food poisoned myself included. "I discovered this place a while back when I went in to grab a yiros for lunch (this place is near my work). Loved it. Went there again... and again. Recently, took my family there for lunch. They loved it. Took some friends, they loved it too. The food is just amazing. The charcoal grill is my favourite. The serve is generous and the price pretty reasonable. Staff are friendly. Highly recommend this place for a quick lunch or relaxed one."

"Worst place ever!. My wife had a souvlaki and I had a fish chips (king George whiting). When I opened the take away box, there was heaps of chips and a half size of king George whiting. The souvlaki was pretty average. I'll never eat there again!"
