"My 6oth birthday meal with family and friends . There was a group of 18 of is including 4 children everything was excellent seating arrangements getting the table set for us banners and balloons . Service was very good just a few had starters but main course was prompt and everybody enjoyed it . When my birthday cake arrived with candles on the staff had put a large sparkler candle on that was an added extra the kids loved it. Prices are a little bit more but worth it our 4th visit will definitely return"

"Very charming little italian on the portobello road with friendly staff, a jolly vibe, and excellent pasta. pro tipp: ask for the specialties of the day, they tend to. good, especially. we had the portobello mushroom pasta and the lobster pasta, both delicious. the portobello mushroom pasta: very buttery and tasteful, these mushrooms are so tender but at the same time satisfying. I don't know what went into the seasoned and the sauce, but it works everything. the lobster pasta: saporitalia went here for the great weapons. I suddenly see a huge lobster in front of me on a teller, with some pasta underneath. the pasta was good, but the lobster was the star of the show. the meat was fresh and juicy, and very well combined with the rest of the plate. some of the best lobster I had in london."

"Don't often do take aways and don't often do pizza, but decided on this for a family gathering. WOW! from the best pizza base to the tastiest of toppings! the whole family enjoyed, I even enjoyed cold pizza the next day! we will definitely be ordering again!"

"We booked here for a group of 17 people for lunch. All of us preordered beforehand and there was a mix of dietary requirements. Firstly, service was lacking, not very attentive, no check throughout the meal either, the server was very nice but not knowledgable on questions asked. Waiting times were incredibly long, for a three course meal we were still waiting for desserts three hours after arriving. Several people had to leave and cancel their desserts due to the long wait. About an hour or so wait between courses. I had the starter of sweet chilli cauliflower which was delicious, very well cooked and spiced. For main I had the Jerusalem artichoke ravioli, along with four other people in the group, unfortunately this was inedible. The ravioli had been cooked to a soft mush, there was no filling in most of the parcels, the watery sauce was so salty that it really was beyond unpleasant. Everyone who had this dish left some, or all, of the meal. Some of the other diners were unimpressed with their Christmas dinner, especially considering quite a high price point. One diner was given the wrong dish and by the time the correct meal was brought out the rest of the group had finished. When it came to staff taking away plates there was no mention of the left food. One of the diners raised the issue regarding the ravioli dish and was advised it would be fed back. All of us were charged full price for the meals at the till. I declined to pay for mine, as at £15 and half a ravioli parcel eaten, I was not prepared to pay for it. They did accept this and deducted it from my bill, I do feel however this should have been offered when full plates of food had been returned. I did not have a dessert as the vegan option was unfortunately just ice cream. Those that did really enjoyed their desserts however and they were a good size portion, particularly the crumble. Although for me just having had the cauliflower starter, and no breakfast, I left there pretty hungry and nearly fours later! The pub itself and the location is lovely. Not sure if it was just an off day and they were overwhelmed, but based on this experience today I sadly wouldn’t return."
