"Very good service, friendly and attentive staff. We had lunch on the terrace today. Soothing place. Fresh and delicate starter based on fennel, marinière, samphire. Cod, mini zucchini in salad seasoned with oil/lemon, siphon of aioli, fennel and new potatoes, breadsticks. Desserts around lemon basil and a peach strawberry basil rice pudding verrine. Excellent meal. (A glass of wine for €12 and a bottle of homemade sparkling water for €8 is a bit of a steep price..."

"Nous avons fait la découverte de ce restaurant car nous logions à Joucas et nous avons été très agréablement surpris par le repas du midi (4 suggestions d'entrée, 4 plats principaux et 4 desserts) à prix très démocratiques (11 € pour le plat, 15€ pour plat + entrée ou dessert et 19€ pour le complet entrée + plat + dessert) repas très copieux et servis sur la terrasse ensoleillée avec en prime le sourire et l'amabilité de la serveuse. Nous avons également testé le soir ou le repas est à la carte même constatation tout était extra. RESTAURANT DONC A CONSEILLER VIVEMENT."

"Our party of two booked for an evening meal just a few days after the Mas des Herbes Blanches opened again for business after several months closure for total refurbishment. The new décor is very Provençal and in quite a quirky way. We went for the seasonal set menu (at 65 euros) which in June was themed around the tomato. Every single dish from the amuse bouches to the dessert (yes even the dessert) contained tomatoes in one form or another. On balance the theming worked well but the pre-dessert palate cleanser of yellow tomato purée with pineapple was an odd combination and didn't really work. Similarly the dessert combining red tomatoes with strawberries was rather odd. Service was polite and relaxed but rather erratic, perhaps indicating the newness of the restaurant (we had to wait interminably for the bill). Small glasses of wine at 12 euros seemed rather excessive. And finally why a restaurant of this supposed quality has to have incessant infernal muzac playing is a mystery."

"Excellent memories of these moments in this haven of peace. On the evening of our arrival, we have dinner at the gastronomic restaurant Xavier Mathieu.
