"The customer service treatment from the drive thru on 5/23 made my meal pleasant tonight. Since Covid, we have endured poor customer service at times from many restaurants struggling to stay open and tonight we go great service from a fast food chicken spot. I just wanted to brag on the woman working the drive-thru tonight who once I had ordered repeated my order back to me before telling me pull forward. Before she handed me my order she repeated my order back to me and told me thank you. The food was Golden Chick's best but it tasted even better since the drive thru person appreciated me and my family stopping by. Kudos to her!"

"You really need 4 handicap spots? I can't imagine how often 4 carloads of handicap people coming here to eat. Also they're always out of salsa fuego. Imo that's the best salsa. -half a star for each point. All complaining aside it's pretty good."

"Usually you love this place. Today was the exception of the normal. The waiter was terrible! My family was quickly greeted and so quickly sitting. We ordered drinks, except my wife has them. We waited and waited and watched the server help the 3 other tables. Then he disappeared for a while. I finally got up and went to the bar to ask for her drink. Then about 2 to 3 minutes later the waiter came back with the drink. He apologized for the delay. I gave him the advantage of doubt, but that only brought more disappointment. I always looked around the table to the left, the two played on their phones, the others looked like he was sleeping. I thought they were waiting for the food and waiter. No good sign! I'm just gonna talk it up to a bad day. The food was good, only the waiter was overwhelmed by the four tables he had."

Having had most of my Mexican food experiences in Texas, I noticed that the food at El Pais in Bedford, TX, reminded me of what I got in Mexican restaurants in California. A bit lighter but still flavorful. Sometimes the food in Mexican restaurants, even the ones I really like, overwhelms me. This was good, simple fare and I completely enjoyed the experience."
