"Tom and his family, boss and employees are happy, polite, friendly and accommodating. The fruits and vegetables are super fresh. Chef Ellie makes delicious salads, main dishes and the best desserts. They also have a deli with large sandwiches, salads, wraps and panini. Besides, they care and I have saved myself endless hours of work by ordering their records. Tom carries some nice gourmet food and sauces. Oh, and the plants! Everything at Tom's is notch. I love this little Westfield treasure. You will."

"Food is standard diner food; they have a large menu, lots to choose from. I will say the wait staff is very friendly, I actually felt welcome, smile and all. I didn't get asked for a refill and no check in while I was eating so that's disappointing. The quality of the food was average, as you would expect from a large menu and the general decline in all restaurant food unfortunately. Order took a bit to get delivered to the table but the portions were large and they were able to accommodate substitutions with no questions asked. Would I go back, probably, after I try other places in the area. The key is really finding a place with decent food, check, decent prices, check, and a place you actually feel welcome, check. So, four stars!"

"My grandfather and I stopped here for a bite to eat before his brothers funeral at Rossi Funeral home, right down the street. Alfonso's pizza was delicious. It's an art to make great pizza, finding the proper combination of water, dough, cheese, and sauce is a bit more involved than your average lay man thinks. They have definitely hit the mark with their recipe. I highly recommend this pizza place if you happen to be in Scotch Plains, NJ."
