Lovely views, tranquil setting. Expensive 7 oz white Drouhin wine. The wine was nice, but expensive at $20. Ordered cauliflower salad. It was curried, and quite good. However it would have been better with a bed of greens. Friends ordered the potato salad and it was basically a pile of diced potatoes. Hard to find the eggs and capers. Have gone to the Banff Springs Hotel for Afternoon Tea many times. The last couple of years the price has gone up and the service has gone down. They used to offer up all the different teas for you to smell and could try a few selections. Now you just order off the menu and they bring you a big pot of your one selection in a Tea bag.
