"A friend of a friend opened this place whilst also owning a Vietnamese restaurant in Paris. I suppose that doesn't necessarily mean it's good (there are many substandard pho places around the world and the Viet restaurant in Geneva left a lot to be desired... but given the French influence on Vietnam (read Indochine for more , they must have at least a partially discerning palate."

"If you're looking for tasty, value for money, authentic Thai soup, you can't go past Asia Unique. The portions are really generous and the ingredients are top quality. If you're a meat eater, you cant go past the boat noodle soup Ive been going there a few times a week and the standard has been too notch every single time. They also have happy hour all day, with a beer costing only 5 bucks...an absolute bargain! You won't be disappointed, get the soup."

"My wife and I decided to eat here today when hunger overtook us. We had never noticed Vietnam Town restaurant before but we took a chance and went in. The restaurant is, to put it mildly, rather simple, modest and even a bit shabby, but the service was very friendly and warm. The menu offers a wide variety of Vietnamese and Chinese dishes with a bit of Indian food thrown in as well. There are some lunch specials too. We chose one of our favourite Vietnamese dishes - chicken goi ga , a Vietnamese coleslaw as it is described in most menus. What we were served was one of the best versions of this we've tasted in more than thirty years. Lots of vivid crunchy vegetables and sharp zingy flavours plus a decent amount of shredded chicken. Perhaps there could have been some slivers of chile and my wife would have preferred less sweetness, but the overall result was excellent. Our second dish, a pho soup with beef balls and beef slices was not as good. It was acceptable but the broth wasn't rich and complex enough. Still, overall this was a pleasant lunch and we'll probably be back to sample more dishes. The restaurant is both BYO and licensed and its located almost opposite Richmond Town Hall."

"People listen to one news story and ruin a good restaurants reputation. This place has fantastic food and quick turn around. Worth every dollar won’t find many high quality contemporary Chinese food chains such as this. So glad I didn’t listen to the sheep"
