"Was really looking forward to trying out this place, as it always looks busy in the evenings. Ordered fish and chips with mushy peas on takeaway. Partner asked for salt only on the chips and we ended up with salt AND vinegar. Mushy peas were a questionable luminous green and virtually no taste to them. The whole meal was also tepid warm, despite venturing just up the road with our food. Unfortunately won’t be trying again. "A must place to visit, freshly cooked skinless fish in either traditional batter or bread crumbs, I had the pleasure of having bread crumbs and it's the best fish I've ever had, the chips were perfect and the staff were very helpful and friendly."

"I have lived in the village for about 5 years and was more regular user of fishable. 90% of the time that eat is great, but occasionally problems occur. Most of the time this seemed to be up to inexperienced employees. Recently, this seems to have improved ad that I had no cause for a complaint and I am pleased to recommend them to friends again."

"Regular customers and always highly recommended. However, Placed an order this evening at 17.55 with a 19.35 delivery time. Had to ring at 20.40 to be told another 20 minutes.
