"We stopped at this little restaurant just after 12.00 and it was already almost full of locals tucking in. The menu of the day was €12.50 with various choices. We had an excellent starter of melon with ham followed by duck with rice in a cranberry sauce (we could have chosen potatoes instead), then a green salad. We declined the cheese course and finished with a creme brulee and a peach tart. Everything was home-made and delicious. Bread was included. The service was friendly and efficient and we will not hesitate to return on our next trip. It is just a short drive off the main motorway south of Le Mans"

"We went here on the recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed, being non meat eaters makes eating out in France challenging, the food here was wonderful. Beautifully presented, tasted better than it looked, the service was excellent, we shall definitely, definitely be back!"
