"The TA sign caught my eye. Since it was raining I decided to have my mid morning coffee there. It was a mistake. All the cakes on display seemed to be left overs from more than just one day. Settled for the apple strudel. Pastry was thick and tough, it was rather stale, filling was super sweet. Espresso macchiato was o.k. For the price you can get way better quality in Brixen. Im originally from this part of Europe, therefore dare say I know what good patisserie is like. Cafe am Gries doesnt have it."

"We went to this Restaurant on the New Year‘s Eve as it was the only one in Brixen that had spontaneously two seats for us. We ordered some Thai mixed appetizer, was ok, but in the menü didn‘t specify it is 11,90€ per person (as in the description it says for 2 persons) they charged for us 2 twice the appetizer! Main dish my man ordered was Thai Curry, nothing special. My dish was also Thai, but veggie (with Tofu), which came too salty (and tofu seemed to be old) that I couldn‘t eat it. We reported it to our waiter, but he laughed and said: „oh, so no salt?“ My man then said „No, with salt but not too much“. They brought me the same dish after aprox 3mins which was on contrary- too sweet. It seemed like they simply put sugar in it. I decided to not be rude now, so I searched some pasta with mozzarela cheese and basilico. It was ok, but also nothing I would usually eat. Also, Atmosphere was quite hectic and waiters were just running through the Restaurant. Wouldn‘t recommed this Restaurant unfortunately."
