"Scottish bar maid made us feel very welcome served us immediately (although pub was quiet . Food was served quite quickly and the Lasagne and salad I received was beautifully cooked and the salad was actually a fresh salad. No limp lettuce here or dried up out of a bag, it was lovely . Drinks were good beer served was obviously kept well . We hadn't been here since Covid and will be back it was lovely"

"THEY NEED HAIRNETS!!! Came in here and there was a couple of very polite girls, but they had waist length ponytails with no hair nets. One of the girls was quite short so as she lent over to put the salad on my sandwich her full ponytail flopped on to my sandwich. she didn’t notice and I was too polite to say something. They either need to wear hairnets or put their hair in a bun so it doesn’t literally flop on to the food. Just a bit grim. Has put me off.
