"Me and my partner came here for dinner last night, the place was nice, clean and quite busy which is always a good signWe ordered the banh xeo, fried sticky rice and broken rice with grilled pork The quality of the food and produce was really good and fresh, the banh xeo stole the show for me as it's hard to find in Melbourne, it was Huge and delicious and was one of the best I've tasted The whole meal came to $35 which to me is ridiculously cheap for a meal this delicious and filling The staff were also very nice This will definitely become a regular place for us and I definitely recommend this to people that are looking for genuine Vietnamese cuisine"

"We attended Smokehouse 101 for a birthday lunch on May 8th. Martin the owner/manager looked after our every need with awesome service, awesome food and a whole bunch of good humour. Lunch went for 5 hours and was always served at an appropriately slow paced rate. Three main courses including a 1.5kg (shared) T Bone steak followed by a moderate (at our request) dessert made for a really wonderful birthday.Thank you Martin and Smokehouse 101."

"I was delighted to dine as a guest of Mr Spriggins today, it was a real pleasant surprise. It certainly doesn’t deserve its low rating. The food is simple and options limited but it covers the classic fare and it’s executed well. We checked out the new menu which now supersedes the one listed here on Zomato and ordered a Mexican salad and smashed avocado. The eggs on my dish were perfectly poached and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My chai latte was sweet but you could actually taste the chai flavour as opposed to the many I’ve had that are akin to mildly spiced milk. <br/>This is a family friendly cafe on account of conveniently being attached to a play centre. The owners designed it as such to offer a fully integrated space for children where parents could actually meet and enjoy a meal with the food being served in the seperate cafe space as well as throughout the fun centre itself. Given that many a child passes through the cafe the waffles are wildly popular and are served in numerous varieties. We opted for the salted caramel honeycomb crunch and were not disappointed. When it came to the table I actually gasped. The waffles were fluffy and well cooked and the toppings generous and delicious. What a sweet sensation and visually stunning. I also saw someone else’s Nutella waffles which looked phenomenal. <br/>If I had kids this is certainly where I’d be spending my weekends and I’ll absolutely be recommending it to those I know who do have little monsters as its definitely a great concept. It’s literally minutes from Highpoint too so even if you are sans tiny humans pop in for a sugary post shopping treat"
