"This is my third time here and as always the food was beyond reproach but the service was poor. Currently Maestral has a policy of two sittings. One at 6pm and one at 8pm. So understandably you dine under time constraints. I’ll highlight a few examples of the poor services. A)we had a friend running late due to a traffic accident and we were told that we don’t want you to rush but you need to order before 7pm. We were told this at 6.20pm. In other words we might be saying we don’t want you to rush but what we are really saying is we want you to rush B)we had just finished our mains and even before they had been cleared we were being asked for desssert. It might have been nice for the staff to wait a minute before we have the dessert menu foisted on us. C) at the end of the evening we received the bill and we noticed it had a corkage fee of $10. Or $2 a person. Since we had only three people drink wine it should have been only $6. We brought this to the attention of a waiter who corrected it only to have another waiter check that it was true that we had only three people drink alcohol. This wasn’t a pleasant ending to the evening. So if your after good food good service A relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere"

"I was not treated so well or eaten so much wonderful Mediterranean food in a very long time. aleca (sp looked after us as if we were family. we commented more than once it was like a Greek mother who filled her up. we let them serve and chose. dorf salad, fried olive, tiropita shaped like a eiroll, flatbread, oktopus. the highlight was the goat shoulder. So it fell tenderly from the bone and a rich aroma beyond the expectation. there was no room for dessert, so she still brought it. creme brûlée and ekmek what I think means heavenly kissing of ingenious. a tasty of mastic for aperitif with coffee and now it is on eating coma."

"Someone at work mentioned that the 'Peppered Prawn ' had changed to a mediteranian kitchen called 'Cibo '. I was looking for somewhere to meet a friend for brunch on Sunday so tried Cibo. What a joy. All day breakfast to chose from as well as a...fabulous lunch menu. All the food that came out to the various tables around us looked fantastic. The service was attentive and genuine (we had a Uni student Jenna beautiful young lady, nothing too much trouble). Not a huge fan of plastic plants, but then you can 't have everything! Nice open space, not too noisy and more importantly none of that 'borrowed ' kitchen noise that you get in so many trendy restaurants today."
