"The food was excellent and there was lots of it. It is rare these days when you walk away from a restaurant feeling fully satisfied. Service was generally courteous and efficient, although I did sit with an empty beer glass in front of me for twenty minutes - a cardinal sin!Both of us enjoyed all our three courses. Well cooked, true to description and well presented. Meat lovers paradise. Vegans need not bother. The wine list was limited, but obviously carefully and quite skillfully selected. You can't go past the Kozel dark beer, which is why I was so keen to get a second one. The initial wait time for entrees was a little too long, but once it was served, the rest of the meal was served in good order.We found the restaurant very noisy with the live band - we had to lean across the table to hear each other speak. However, when we raised the issue with Jerry, he cheerfully moved us to an outside table. The band themselves were very talented.The main disappointment from the evening was not from the restaurant or staff, but from the absolute bogans who disrespect a fine establishment by turning up in rubber thongs, vulgar board shorts and a dirty and torn flannel shirt. I saw at least three similarly dressed loud-mouthed ruffians during the evening. The place would benefit from at least a basic dress code. For that alone, I have deducted a point."

"I booked a table for the vater 's day. at the arrival I was asked how long the rest of the guests would arrive as we were only 1 hour before the arrival of the next party. Oh, it wasn't her fault. she was gone when the booking was made! to supplement injuries, my man did not get what he ordered and paid, there were some of the food ordered. we were asked to go after the 1 hour was up! I can't accept that they want their business, treat them to this rude wise and not expect to get a hustling review! will not be back that will be sure to go any of our friends, or people who ask where is a good place. not cuisine on bowen, that is safe."
