"Fish was dry chips had been kept too long and were soft and chewy . Order was wrapped first left on counter and then peas put into microwave therefore warm when we started to eat and stone cold by the time we were half way through! ' Do not advise a visit"

"Once I 've payed for my food I 'd like to put my own salt and vinegar on. Was told by staff 'instructions ' by the owner, something to do with health and safety And I said I won 't be coming back because I like to add my own condiments. "The best fish and chips in essex in the did the best I cost for a long time in the uk. the management team is very friendly and friendly as they are great proud of cooking on the most traditional wise. good quality, highly recommended and they must try it when they are in the opposite. I also believe that they open a grill, Indian desert place next door, which, if as good as the village fish chips store then should be a winner. well done"

"We visited the cafe on Sunday 22nd Nov. The guy running the place was shouting and swearing at the young girl (who was probably 16 years old) at the top of his voice, he was throwing stuff around and then was blaming everything on the...girl to us customers. If we hadn't already paid, I would have walked away. Hope the young lady gets a better job or he gets sacked. If that was my daughter being treated in that way, he'd be needing new front teeth!! Nasty piece of work. Take your custom elsewhere please."
