"I have been to this restaurant with my husband many times. The service is very good and it has a family atmosphere. In the summer you can dine on the terrace looking towards the lake. We go here for all our special dates in the year. We have never eaten anything that was delicious. It has a small menu but still enough to find the right thing. Menu changes throughout the year. It is our favorite restaurant in the region. Cant wait till our next visit. Pricing is really good for the region and for what you get."

"Luckily we had reserved a table in advance. As discussed at the reservation we decided to sit on the terrace and if the weather was not as nice we would be seated inside. When we arrived, the terrace was too cold as in the shade,...which is not astounding in the centre of this little, and beautiful city of Yvoire. So the waiter had prepared a wonderful table right at the window with view on the passing street. My daughter and I ordered the menu which started off with a “foie gras”, continued with a nice steak “boeuf charolais” and ended with a “moelleux au chocolat”. My wife had as a starter the “petite friture de joëls” – little grilled fish with head and tail – extremely delicious, and apparently one of the main plates in the restaurant, as we saw many clients order this only. Her main dish was a nice “tartare de boeuf”. My daughter and I wanted to have our steak rare, hers arrived medium-rare and my was basically well-done, which I claimed. It got replaced by a second effort which came to be medium-rare as well – a bit astonished, as the regional people mostly eat their steak rare. Anyhow, it was a nice steak after all. As my wife is a little eater I had the opportunity to try her tartare – it was very nicely seasoned, though I personally would have preferred to have the meat cut just a little smaller. Our little chocolate cake was an almost perfect finish to our meal. All in all, we have been very pleased with the restaurant, the food and the service. But, if you go there, plan to take a lot of time with you. We have been there for hours. If you have to take a boat you will quickly get under time pressure and then, I guess, things can get nasty. But if you have time, it is definitely a place to go"

"The macaroons are very good and the best thing is the variety.... so manu good and different flavors, difficult not to choose one of each. The woman that helped us in the counter was super nice and friendly."
