"I know I review La Cave every year but that is simply because we go there every year when we are in the Gers. It is fantastic value and the food is beautiful and the whole place is family run. This is real French Cooking at its best. The 38 Euro menu includes aperitifs all the wine and Armagnac and would not be available in the UK, if it was it would cost a fortune. The duo of fois gras is exceptional and my favorite thing to eat, I have never had anything that comes close. You do need to like duck, it is a Ferm Auberge and that is all they do, we call it the Duck, duck, duck and duck and that says it all. Cant wait until I go back next year."
