"Konoba Pinna Nobilis is a new seafood restaurant in Hallein everyone is raving about, so of course we had to see for ourselves. It is a small and cozy restaurant with tasteful interior. The young waitress was particularly charming. While my family ordered the fixed menu, I decided to have fish soup as a starter (the daily special, I didn't know what it would cost), a seafood platter and my dad's dessert from the fixed menu. The soup, accompanied by bread, was good, although I have eaten better. I really enjoyed my seafood platter - grilled shrimp, calamari and scallops with a handful of veggies and potatoes - and I tasted some of the fish from the fixed menu which was also excellent. When I was done with my main course, however, I still felt quite hungry and I wished there had been more potatoes and veggies on my plate. This is something I will never understand: Why do restaurants skimp on the sides? They aren't expensive and they will ensure that the customers leave the restaurant with full bellies.I hoped that the dessert - two slices of chocolate mousse with fresh fruit - would save me but it didn't.When the check came, I was surprised to notice that the fish soup, which was a starter, was that expensive. If I had spent 2€ more I could have eaten the three course fixed menu. It would have been nice of the waitress to point that out to me beforehand.So, while the atmosphere and the seafood at Konoba Pinna Nobilis undoubtedly are very good, they should work on transparency and the amount of sides they put on their plates."

"Had late lunch for 2 families with young kinds. Overall food was very good, some of the dishes (their specials) were extremely good and highly recommended. The restaurant has a big back yard which has very pleasant atmosphere to sit in. Service was superb, very...fast and knowledgeable guy with great English Over all very good experience of local Austrian cuisine"

"What a wonderful experience, from the moment we stepped on the terrace! We were greeted by the chef himself and sat in a lovely spot out front. As the menu was in German, we told Chef Ernst we trusted him and he made wonderful selections for us all. The seafood soup was divine and my four children said the weinerschnitzel was the best they'd had in all of northern Italy and Austria (perfectly breaded, very light and tasty). Others in our group had the venison delicious, as was the local berry compote served with it....Chef's wine recommendations were wonderful, as well ... we went back for dinner the next night, that's how good ... Don't miss this delightful spot."

"Here for lunch with man and son. It is rare that we feel as pampered as we were here, they take care of their customers. The spicing of the food was somewhat different from what we are used to, but very interesting, a little too strange for our son. The red wine per glass that was recommended was very good. We would give the food four, but the friendly care results in the highest rating."
