"We absolutely loved staying here. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The bed was so soft and luxurious. The bath tub in the room was great for a soak after fishing all day. We would definitely stay here again."

"Great food and atmosphere! Beautiful historic building (the banquet hall adjacent to the dining room still has the original hand-painted ceiling). The grilled zucchini skewers were amazing! They 're huge (each one is literally a quarter of a full size summer squash cut length-wise), and they were just the right amount of crunchy and not overcooked but still tender. The Chicken Basket is a great value meal , and the chicken tenders are actually pieces of chicken (not blended mystery meat). It was a great meal after a full day of outdoor activities. "Absolutely delicious fresh food. BEST ONION RINGS IVE EVER HAD. Shakes are too good. I've come here five times this week with my wife and definitely our new place. Everyone in the city already comes a lot here, so make sure you only go through to give this place an attempt! Must try the chicken sando. Next time."

"We stopped by this place for a beer on the way back to Shasta from Burney falls. We got the local IPA, which was great, and the server/bartender (I didn't catch his name) suggested the tacos when we went back and forth about getting a bite to eat. The carnitas tacos were worth every single penny! They were delicious and we ate our tacos and drank our beer out on the patio on a perfect sunny fall day. I see good things for this new restaurant."

"This use to be Arron's the Lodge but Arron the chef has left this restaurant and it's not all that great. His food was expensive but totally worth it! And he would come out and say Hi. The prices are still very high but the quality is way down. I ordered a small steak and it was just gray/brown looking and had no flavor. The servers was odd too. younger, high school looking kids working that didn't seem to have much experience. We had to keep asking for things over and over and they would forget to bring them out. My daughter ordered a chicken breast. They knew it was for a kids but when they brought it out had been cooked with cracked pepper. It was way too spicy for her to even eat. Had to send it back and reorder. Even the B B we stayed at said everyone in town is disgusted with this places high prices poor quality. Unfortunately there isn't much else in town for dinner unless you can catch the nights the White Mountain Fountain is serving dinner (Thur-Sat? . I had high hopes for desert but they only had a few options and the one thing I wanted they didn't have. If you want a nice dinner go to Cafe Maddalena in Dunsmuir (20 mins. down the road pricey but super food! Try the fruit tart!!"
