"Nice eating as usual was very busy and we had not booked but we were found a table then moved to a bigger one than it was available (I think she saw what we ordered and decided we needed a bigger table! the service was good with apologies for the delays because they were busy. poppadome were beautiful and fresh and many dives. in any case worth a visit."

"Went here with my daughter last night. Unfortunately we were underwhelmed by the ambiance. There were four other tables occupied and during the evening only three other couples came in. Not good for a Saturday night. The waitresses were lovely and very helpful but the food was disappointing. We waited a long time for starters. My daughter had spring rolls, which were fine and I had a beetroot croquette which was very small and had very little taste. For mains we had mushrooms with melted cheese and veg and home made pie with veg. Unfortunately the pie was again small with little taste but the mash which was described as ‘luxury creamy mash’ was stodgy, grey and had several grey lumps. We left feeling that the food was overpriced and that this restaurant is trying to be something that it clearly is not!"
